‘Twas the Day before Exams…

‘Twas the day before Exams, when all through the school
All students were stirring, maybe even a mouse;
The texts were put on the desks with care,
In hopes that their teacher soon would be there;

The pupils were nestled all snug in their classes,
While visions of 100s danced in their heads;
And teachers making copies, and I at my desk,
Had just settled down for a long exam week
